My name is Mel Flower-Ellis. I came into coaching as a result of supporting my children through their secondary school and university years. Having previously studied for a diploma in psychodynamic counselling, I found that coaching is a profession where I can channel my passion for helping people find what makes them “tick”, see how that drives their decisions and outcomes - and then make positive decisions from there.
I trained with the Coaches Training Institute, one of the oldest and highly regarded coaching schools, and I am a CPCC certified Co-Active Coach. I work with institutions including University College London, coaching programmes in the TV industry, and private clients across a range of ages and occupations - from millennials and parents returning to the workplace to actors, students, senior executives and entrepreneurs.
I bring a fresh, energetic and questioning style to our sessions, where you are the expert on your life and I help you understand better what "makes you tick" - and how that is driving your life decisions and outcomes
We will use a variety of proven techniques to identify the things that matter most to you, what motivates you, and what holds you back
At each session we will use this growing knowledge to create an action plan that is grounded in your reality, and which allows you to take powerful steps in the direction you want to go.
You are in control at every stage, and the pace of change is entirely up to you. All coaching sessions are completely confidential and are usually done over Zoom or FaceTime.
Courses run over either six or twelve sessions, typically fortnightly, with the option to add more as you wish later.
